PURPOSE:To prevent bath voltage from being raised abruptly by supplying a suspension obtained by suspending a manganese oxide in a manganese sulfate solution into an electrolytic tank from a direction parallel to surfaces of plural cathode and anode plates. CONSTITUTION:The suspension of a manganese oxide suspended in the electrolytic manganese sulfate solution is introduced from a direction parallel to the surfaces of the plural electrode plates mounted in the electrolytic tank. As a manganese oxide, for example, there are MnO2, Mn2O3 or Mn3O4 and said manganese oxide is suspended in a concn. of about 1-5g/l against the manganese sulfate solution. Thereby, the suspended manganese oxide can be uniformly dispersed in the tank and the bath voltage is prevented from being raised abruptly to enable the stable electrolysis for a long time and the electrolyzed manganese dioxide without cracks and with good quality is obtained. |
