PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of electric power generation without increasing the effective mass of a vibration system by arranging two coils in parallel to a cantilever on the base end of the cantilever at the electric power generation part of a moving coil type pickup cartridge. CONSTITUTION:To the base end of cantilever 1, bobbins 2 and 3 made of nonmagnetic substances are fixed in parallel to cantilever 1 and coils 4 and 5 are wound around those bobbins 2 and 3. Both bobbins 2 and 3 are positioned in vibration directions of both channels viewed from vibration fulcrums and pole pieces 6 and 7 of fixed magnet 8 are arranged with each flank 6a at right angles to the above- mentioned vibration direction. In such a constitution, if a signal arrives at only the right channel, for example, coil 4 slants in the magnetic force line direction and coil 5 in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic force line, so that an output appears at only coil 4. The moving coil type pickup cartridge of this constitution can improve the efficiency of the electric power generation remarkably without increasing the effective mass of the vibration system. |
