PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous plating device capable of production of products even during the exchange operation of the work rollers of skin pass mill by providing a skin pass mill and a tension leveler on outlet side in the progress direction of the strip of loop car on the outlet side. CONSTITUTION:While the primary coil 12 is consumed and the rear end of the coil 12 is connected with the inital end of a coil 16 by melting, an inlet side section is stopped but plating operation on a strip 24 is continuously carried out in the center section by an inlet side loop car 32, and then when exchanging a skin pass mill 26, the mill 26, a tension leveler 28, and an outlet side section are stopped. During said period, continuous plating operation is made in the center section and the plated strip 24 is stored in the outlet loop car 38, during which the work roller 40 of the mill 26 is exchanged. And, after the exchange of the roller 40, the mill 26, the leveler 28, and the outlet side section are operated, the plated strip 24 stored in the loop car 38 is discharged, and then usual operation is restarted. |
