Compact floor drain odour seal - has whole of plunger wall and over-fall wall pieces housed in pipe socket

Pipe sockets are used which run out sideways or downwards from a chamber. There is an odour sealing unit, formed by a plunger wall and an overfall wall at an interval behind this, the chamber being coverable by a grating or lid and shaped to hold a waste bucket. These features are incorporated in the housing for a drain in a floor, or in a cellar, ceiling or balcony. The plunger wall (7) and overfall wall (6) are completely located in the pipe socket (3). The lower part (7a) of the plunger wall is pref. sited in the boarding plane of the chamber (1) and pipe socket where a pluggable cleaning opening is provided, the upper part of the wall may be offset into the pipe socket far enough to provide room for the screw stopper.
