Mechanically stacking mirror-image pairs of sealed packs - rotating head with radial grips holds turns and ejects packs

Sealed packs in parallel series are stacked successively in at least single pairs of mirror-image units, especially in machines producing the sealed packs themselves. The machine used has (a) a revolving head carrying one or more pairs of rotating arms, which extend parallel to and over the individual packs and grip them (b) intermittent drive for the head (c) mechanism making the grips hold and then release a pack each time the head turns one step. The arms rotate through 90 deg. with/against the head when the latter turns and then return when the head completes a revolution; when the grips release a pack synchronised ejectors move up to the arms. High efficiency rapid operation, compact machine is provided.
