PURPOSE:To easily obtain a light and shade part and a continuous gradation pattern by forming a film contg. a monovalent silver salt contg. P and O atoms as essential components followed by calcination at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:The monovalent silver salt contg. P and O atoms includes Ag3PO4, AgPO3 and Ag4P2O7. To improve the coloring properties H, N, alkali metal, Al or S atom may be added. The silver salt is finely pulverized, mixed with a coating, ink, etc., and applied to the surface of glass or pottery to form a film, and then calcination is carried out at 400-1,400 deg.C. At this time, since a colorant concn. changing part is formed in the film beforehand by increasing and decreasing the amount of the silver compound, a pattern corresponding to the part is obtd. A silver phosphate film may be formed by the chemical reaction of a silver ion-contg. substance and a P compound. |
