A measuring head comprises a vibratory system mounted in a casing (1) and including a rod (4) with the ends of essentially different thickness, the thick end carrying a piezoelectric converter (7) and the thin end carrying a contact cap (15). The rod (4) is fixed in the casing (1) within the area of the nodal plaine of the vibratory system. The piezoelectric converter (7) is provided with current supplying elements (8, 10) connected to the output of the generator of electric oscillations, and with current collecting elements (9, 10) connected to an input of a phase-sensitive circuit, the other input of which is connected to the output of the generator. The measuring head can be used in devices for precise control of dimensions and reciprocal spacing of parts.
