PURPOSE:To make high-speed response possible by using emitter-follower-connected transistors for a discriminating circuit, which discriminates data during data transmission, to detect positive and negative peaks. CONSTITUTION:Arrival signal 1 is amplified by transistors 15, whose emitter is connected to level shift diodes 18 and 19, having much smaller resistance values than that of resistance 20, and resistance 20. The anode of diode 18 and the cathode of diode 19 are connected to bases of positive and negative peak detecting transistors 17 and 16 and capacitors 8 and 9 are charged up to peak values. The neutral voltage of the arrival signal is detected by resistances 10 and 11 connected to the capacitors and supplied to one input of a voltage comparator and from variable resistor 14, a signal varied only in the DC level is applied to the other input of the comparator. |
