<p>Tone control device having a construction for operating on an input signal and on the signal obtained by passing the input signal through both a filter and a gain-controlled circuit, the gain of the gain-controlled circuit being varied by a control voltage for exercising tone control. One filter is used in common for establishing both bands of boosting and cutting to facilitate IC circuit manufacture. In order to prevent the cut-off frequency from deviating between the boosting- and the cutting-modes, the discrimination between the modes is made on the basis of the control voltage on the basis of which discrimination the characteristics and the gain of the filter are changed-over. </p> |
