The pneumatic-hydraulic energy converter with its units connected by lines, so that the hydraulic oil travels around a closed circuit, has a pressure cylinder containing a piston which forces the oil from a chamber one side around the circuit, and a chamber the other side subjected to air pressure. At the discharge end of the cylinder is a pressure slider controlling entry into the outlet pipe. This pipe is connected to a hydraulic motor separated by an equalising chamber from a rotary sliding vane pump with an eccentric rotor, which is connected by a return line to the oil chamber of the cylinder. Connected between the hydraulic motor and the pump is a mechanical amplifier and a helical gear wheel on the shaft of the hydraulic motor which rotates a cam wheel for the motor.
|
