PURPOSE:To make it possible to hold the characteristic of the metallic thin film for a long time, by providing the metallic thin film for recording on the inside wall of the light permeating substrate where the inside is hollowed and inert gas is filled up and the moisture absorbent is incorporated. CONSTITUTION:The metallic thin film as recording layer 2 is vapor-deposited to one sides of two substrates 1 consisting of transparent materials, and these substrates 1 are opposite to each other through spacers 4 and 4'. Further, wall plate 11 having air hole 10 is provided in the hollow part, and ring-form moisture absorbent holding jig 13 incorporating moisture absorpting material 12 is installed in this part. Inert gas such as Ar and N2 is injected after the hollow part is made vacuous by the exhaust pipe, and the exhaust pipe is sealed. Therefore, the characteristic of the metallic thin film which is the recording medium can be held for a long time. |
