PURPOSE:To efficiently use a memory and to compress the data, by transmitting the difference between the desired pattern produced at the transmission side and the similar pattern which can be produced at the reception side, and producing the desired pattern through the synthesis at the reception side. CONSTITUTION:Each element of the 1st and 2nd patterns stored in buffers 23, 24 is taken for exclusive logical sum at the exclusive logical sum circuit 25, and the differential pattern is coded at the coding circuit 26. The coded pattern is transmitted to the transmission line 19 via the transmission circuit 27. The code train is received at the reception circuit 28 and decoded at the differential pattern at the decoding circuit 29. On the other hand, the 1st pattern produced at the pattern generator at the reception side is tentatively stored in the buffer 31 and synthesized by taking the exclusive logical sum between the output of the circuit 29 and the output of the buffer 31 at the exclusive logical sum circuit 32. The 2nd pattern synthesized is tentatively stored in the buffer 33. |
