PURPOSE:To obtain corona prevention effect with simplicity and at a low cost, by housing a low resistance coating applied stator coil in a core and then forming a semiconductive high-resistance layer on the coil end by powder-coating process. CONSTITUTION:After providing a low-resistance covering 5 on outside circumference of an insulation layer of a coil conductor, a stator coil is put into a slot of a core 3. And then, silicon-containing powdery body 8, which is used for joining and made principally of silicon carbide, is coated on all the way up to a coil end section 12 in such a manner as to overlap the low-resistance coating 5 coming out from the slot, and it is hardened to form a semiconductive high-resistance layer. By doing so, it is possible to form a rigid corona prevention layer with simplicity and at a low cost. |
