PURPOSE:To increase the resolution, by forming a video element by taking each electrode as a unit. CONSTITUTION:In 4-field one frame system, potential well is formed under the phi1 electrode for the 1st field, under the phi2 electrode for the 2nd field, under the phi3 electrode for the 3rd field and under the phi4 electrode for the 4-th field, to enable charge storage for objective image. Further, in each field, after the storage for a suitable time, the field is moved from the image section to the storage section and to external part through the readout register. By this 4-field.one frame method, the number of video elements is increased twice, and as to the image section, multivideo-element in 1,024 (512X2) is simply achieved toward vertical direction. |
