PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous grinding of a workpiece, damage of a machine, etc., by generating a reference signal in response to an input command, by comparing this reference signal with an output signal under control and by cutting off the output of a driving part when the difference obtained by the comparison varies beyond a proper range. CONSTITUTION:When a movement control command is sent from control part 1 to phase control part 2 and reference phase generation part 6, control part 2 sends a phase-modulated output to motor driving part 3 and comparator 7 and generation part 6 performs phase modulation in response to the movement control command and sends the phase-modulated output as a reference signal to comparator 7. Comparator 7 compares the output signal of control part 2 with a prescribed value set by the reference signal from generation part 6 and, when their difference exceeds the prescribed value, puts breaker 8 into operation to cut off the output of driving part 3, stopping driving motor 4. Consequently, the occurrence of an error in the servo amplifier composed of control parts 1 and 2 and driving part 3 stops the output before the machine moves to prevent the erroneous grinding of a workpiece, damage of the machine, etc. |
