PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of heat shrinkable tube by a method wherein a long flexible body block is inserted into a plastic tube to be processed, the tube is heated and softened followed by introducing a specified expander. CONSTITUTION:Firstly more than two pieces of long flexible bodies 2, 2', 2'' having a round section are introduced in an assemblage in a plastic tube 1 to be processed. Next, said tube 1 is heated and held in a state of softening. Then an expander 3 consisting of a piece of central rod 4, the separating rods 8, 9, 10, which are almost the same in outer diameter and the same in number to the used long flexible bodies 2, 2', 2'', besides a guide pin part, a taper part and a columnar body part is inserted into an assemblage of said long flexible bodies 2, 2', 2'' for processing to expand the diameter of said tube 1. In said sate the tube 1 is cooled to obtain a heat shrinkable tube. |
