Vertical heat exchanger rods are sunk in the soil to recover the geothermal heat by water passing down a central tube and ascending in the annulus between it and an outer tube. The inner tube is fitted with a drive point and at the rear end with an adapter for an anvil for a pile driver. A temp. mast acts as the guide for a short jib with a monkey which is raised by a rope winch to exert the ramming blows. A mast (10) is kept upright by a tube (16) and acts as the guide for the jib (11) with a monkey (8,9). The inner tube (1) consists of sections (2,3) which are coupled by a taper thread (4). The leading tube has a ram point. At the rear end, an adapter (6) is screwed on for an anvil (7) to absorb the impacts when the drop weight is released.
|
