The side-hung door comprises timber panels (17) framed by rectangular hollow metal sections (3), utilises a fixed rebated timber frame (2) to the door opening, and included adjustable hinges together with an adjustable head rebate. Hinges may use horizontal straps to post-mounted hooks, the straps having splayed hammer head tongues located by a leaf frame (3) groove (7). Strap height may be set by pointed headless recessed screws traversing threaded strap bores to bit into frame metal. Rebate adjustment may be effected by triple tongue rail (21) located by downstand tongues (24) in the primary head beam (22) rebate, the rail being screw fixed to suit site requirements.
