<p>The wedge is for use in rock-climbing, and is intended for wedging into a rock fissure. The wedge comprises a piece (1) which is a truncated cone shape with four sides (2,3,4,5), one large base (6) and one small base (7). Attachments (8) such as cables or ropes extend from the small base. Two of the sides (4,5) are flat, with the two others having a lengthwise cavity each (9,10).</p> |
