PURPOSE:To form seal films on a metallic base board with the minimum quantity of coating material by forming seal films on an elongated metallic base board, then solidifying the seal films, cutting the base board into a plurality of raw material metallic plates and forming a various kind of holes thereon. CONSTITUTION:Seal films 24 in a shape approximately identical to the shape of the raw metallic plate constituting a gasket on one surface of a base board 22. The base board 22 is dried or solidified at the drying part 12 so as to stabilize the seal films 24. Then, the base board 22 is machined in a press work namely, it is cut. A predetermined number of metallic plates are formed in layers and are fabricated in a metallic layered gasket in an assembling unit comprising the work of spot welding or caulking. In this manner, seal films can be formed with the minimum quantity of coating material on a metallic base board. |
