PURPOSE:To make a correlator small in size by checking the correlation between an n-bit noise pseudo-code and input signal by dividing it into some parts consisting of <=n bits. CONSTITUTION:To terminal 21, a signal diffused by two-phase phase-modulated n-bit noise pseudo-codes is inputted. Intervals of detection electrodes of SAW element 39 are equal to the wavelength of n-bit noise pseudo-codes on SAW element 39. When five out of n bits are detected, output polarities of amplifiers 40-44 have been controlled by a sequence of codes generated by ROM46 and if partial sequence ''00101'' has output polarity ''--+-+'', partial correlation has ''1''. This is repeated, five bits by bits, until n bits, so that the correlation among all bits can be detected. |
