The transistor mounting system using springs includes a square baseplate (2) of insulating material on which are mounted metal strips (5,6,7) with holes through which pass the conductor wires projecting from the transistor. Each metal strip has a slot (a) through it, sloping towards a corner of the plate. The plate also has matching slots, so that wire loops can be inserted through them. These hairpin shaped wires are mounted in a thicker square insulation plate. This plate may also have slots for the wires, so that they may be inserted from underneath. The springs are used to hold the baseplate (2) against the conductive loops.
