Low drag rear end for bobsleigh - has inflatable insert to cover rear access after brake-man is seated

The bobsleigh low drag rear end has an inflated insert (99) to cover the otherwise open rear, between the sidewalls (98) and prevent turbulence. The insert is inflated after the brakeman has pushed the vehicle and has seated himself. The structure is protected from direct wind force by the body of the brakeman. The insert is folded flat on the floor of the vehicle to which it is attached with strapping. The inflation is via a control valve and from a compressed gas bottle with sufficient volume to last the journey. The insert is shaped to fit the contour of the vehicle and has a square section rear end (107) and convex top (99).
