<p>Hollow-profile pref. plastic battens, hinged together, have one or more hooks on one narrow side, and corresponding cut-outs on the other, for mutual engagement, in a roller shutter, while the cavity behind the cut-out contains a bearing face to hold the inserted hook in place. The stem pieces between the cut-outs (9) incorporate an elongated slit (25), narrower than the cut-outs. The bearing face for the hook (14) is pref. formed by a section of the batten's narrow side walling (5) bounding the cut-out. One of the broad side walling pieces (7) may be resilient in this area. Assembly of roller shutter battens is made easier.</p> |
