PURPOSE:To lower impedance by impregnating a capacitor element where separators having long fibers of cellulose, each of which is less than 20mu in diameter on the average, are interposed between electrode foils with TCNQ salt as a solid electrolyte through a heating fusion. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor element 2 is made up by winding aluminum foils through separators 5 between anode and cathode foils 3 and 4 where their surface areas are extended with the processes of etching and the like. The separators 5 are composed of manila papers having low density of about 0.30g/cm<2> and the wound element is impregnated with thermally fused TCNQ salt for 30 seconds at a temperature 270 deg.C and is cooled rapidly to room temperature in 15 seconds and then TCNQ salt is fixed. A solid electrolytic capacitor is composed by sealing the capacitor element at an opening of a case 1 with a sealing cap 6. This approach makes it possible to obtain a highly efficient and high-quantity solid electrolytic capacitor having exceedingly low, impedance which scarcely develops short-circuit. |
