PURPOSE:To minitor a plurality of control operations that correspond to a pattern signal prescirbing more than one pattern by supplying the pattern signal from a controller to an operation monitoring device in the operation monitoring system for a sequence control system. CONSTITUTION:To permit input-output part 2 to be monitored to perform a plurality of operations, controller 1 exercises control that corresponds to patterns with control signal 4 for the input-output part to be monitored. Simultaneously, controller 1 transmits pattern signal 6 to operation monitoring device 3. With this pattern signal 6 and state readout signal 5 of input-output part 2 to be monitored, operation monitoring circuit 3 monitors the states of input-output part 2 by patterns. This shows that the operation monitoring device reads the state of the input-output part from the input-output part, but it may be inputted direct from the controller together with the pattern signal. The pattern signal is generated by the controller. |
