The agricultural vehicle has a support tube rigidly connecting the front and rear axles and holding the gears and the engine with a crankshaft across the longitudinal axis of the vehicle in the region of the rear axle casing. The support tube (3) has a longitudinal guide (6) for a subassembly (8) carrying all controls including the steering column and seat. The subassembly can be displaced and fixed in any position along the guide. A counterbalance weight (21) can also be used. The subassembly therefore carries the entire driving cab and allows the cab to be positioned by the driver for optimum visibility for all types of agricultural work.
