<p>Costs are reduced, and work is simplified, in construction of reinforced-concrete ceilings, esp. involving hollow building blocks, by use of a continuous profile unit. This (1) is made of sheet metal, esp. steel sheet bent into a trough shape. Tension bars are provided by pref. two longitudinal ribs (11), bent out in double-walled form from the sheet metal and protruding into the profile interior. The profile is pref. rectangular, with two opposite edge strips (a) as mounting surfaces for side flanges of hollow blocks. Ribs pref. extend over two-fifths of profile height. There is no need to prefabricated and transport reinforced concrete beams.</p> |
