Solar heating system with internal heat exchanger - has thermal expansion valve relatively near compressor and remote from solar heat collector

The heat collector for a solar heating system is connected by supply and return lines for a heat exchange medium to a circuit with a collector vessel, a pressure regulator and a compressor followed by a heat exchanger. This heat exchanger has a coil through which water is circulated to a room heater. The supply and return lines travel close together so that there is heat exchange between them. They are pref. embedded in the wall of the room, and the return line incorporates a drying unit and a thermal expansion valve. This valve is relatively near the compressor and heat exchanger but relatively far from the heat collector.
