As the weft yarn is drawn from its spool, it is caught and drawn into a loop in the store housing. After a given length has been drawn in, it is released and held for remaining storage time by air suction. Designed for use with a shuttleless loom, where a number of different weft types are used for patterning, the system gives a simple and accurate method of measuring exact lengths of wefts and holding them ready for use.
