<p>The positioning piston (3) slides in a bore (2) in the casing (1), whilst a pivot (4) on the piston carries an angled lever (5,8) one end (5) of which is acted on by a spring (7). The other end (8) depresses a plunger (9) in a transverse bore in the piston. The plunger controls the connection between passages (11,12) in the axial ends of the piston. The lever (8) also presses on a sliding link (22) in a bore (23) in the casing (1). The sliding link (22) moves a control piston (21). The control pressure (16) is admitted (26) to a circumferential groove (25) on the sliding link (22). This pressure between the link and its bore (23) reduces friction and lateral forces.</p> |
