Manhole cover for fuel tank installations - secured by mountings in shaft and includes plate retained by spreader mechanism

Shaft closure secures the mountings of fuel tank installations with a closure plate made to fit the shape of the manhole cross section which is closed together with a spreader mechanism located below it and held by the latter in the shaft. At least two of the arms of the spreader mechanism are length adjustable and all the ends of the arms of the spreader mechanism are supported in recesses of the shaft wall as in 29 44 468. A ring (17) with bolts (16,19) projecting radially outwards as arms serves as the spreader mechanism (5).
