The mounting is for the cooling pipes of a rotary furnace satellite cooler, having a fixed bearer and one or more loose ones for each pipe. These each have a saddle fixed to the rotary furnace casing and accommodating a pipe, and a holding stirrup securing the latter against the saddle. At each bearer the cooling pipe is suspended by hinging bars at intervals round its periphery from the saddle and the stirrup, so as to allow three-dimensional movement.
