<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an electronic typewriter without sacrificing print quality and a print speed by enabling one one-chip microcomputer to exercise retrieval control over operated keys on a keyboard and control over a print part that performs print operation. CONSTITUTION:As a key on keyboard 1 is operated, interruption signal INT is inputted from waveform converting circuit 9 to control part 10 composed of a one- chip microcomputer, which controls analog switch 7 successively and then scans line discrimination signals LS1-LS5 successively to retrieve the operated key. After the key is retrieved, motor 11 is turned for moving a corresponding type to the print position to set print wheel 12 at a prescribed position and print mechanism driving part 17 is driven for print operation. When the key is retrieved during the print operation, its data is temporarily stored and after the print operation, the stored character is printed.</p> |
