PURPOSE:To register dies highly accurately in a short time by assembling a pair of base plates to a die set shape by the use of plural guide posts and mounting dies to each of a pair of these plates. CONSTITUTION:The fitting part 11b of a guide post 11 is fitted into the positioning hole 9 of a base plate 7B, and a clamp nut 12 is screwed to the screw part 11a projecting from the bottom of the base plate 7B and is tightened to fix. Next, from the guide part 11f thereof, the positioning hole 9 of the other base plate 7A is fitted and a pair of the plates 7A, 7B are assembled to a die set shape. In this state the mounting positions of dies 13, 14 are so determined that the lower die 13 mounted to, for example, one plate 7B and the upper die 14 mounted to the other plate 7A have a suitable clearance, and if these dies are fixed to the plates 7A, 7B after this, the registering work is completed. Next, when the plates 7A, 7B are removed, a pair of the plates 7A, 7B respectively mounted with the registered dies 13, 14 are obtainable. |
