The wall socket is fitted in a hollow wall between two plates. The socket is made with attachments to engage the conduit. It is possible to use conventional sockets for plates of different thicknesses and spaced different distances apart. The front plate of the socket is always flush with the front side of one of the plates. The distance of the front side of the socket w.r.t. reverse side of the plate can be adjusted using projecting brackets (2). The brackets operate in conjunction with adjustable elements consisting of a bush (5). One end of the bush is folded over like a flange and the other end is made with a cutout (7). The inside is made with longitudinal ribs.
