The generator is characterised in that it comprises a divider (1) of adjustable frequency, fed by a clock (2) and a device (3) for storing the frequency profile of the pulses delivered by the divider, this storage device comprising a storage unit (4) able to record and apply to the frequency divider (1) a factor for division of the frequency of the clock pulses and a circuit (5) for step by step addressing of this storage unit, each step being of adjustable duration.
