<p>A heating apparatus, such as an electric oven or a microwave oven, comprises
a microphone to transform vocal command of the user into voice command signals,a voice recognition circuit for recognizing vocal instruction signals of a user of the apparatus and produces at least a control signal corresponding to a recognized command,a voice synthesizing circuit for producing artificial voice signal,a speaker which transforms the artificial voice signal into artificial voice,a control circuit which controls operation of said voice recognition circuit and said voice synthesizing circuit in such a manner that said voice synthesizer circuit operates between two steps of the voice recognitions, thus performing an operation as if dialogue between the user and the apparatus, thereby enabling to prevent erroneous recognition and resultant erroneous and dangerous controlling of the heating apparatus. By issuing a relevant answer or a relevant question by said voice synthesizing circuit after the first operation of said voice recognition circuit, the user can confirm the propriety of the first recognition by the apparatus and then gives the apparatus a detailed or decisive command by voice before an actual operation of heating takes place, thus a danger of erroneous dangerous operation of the heating apparatus due to mishearing by the voice recognition circuit can be avoided.</p> |
