PURPOSE:To decrease the temp. change of power consumption by connecting resistances of positive and negative coefficients of temperature in series, dividing supply voltage by these series resistances and applying the voltage acting upon the resistance of which the coefficient of temp. is negative out of these divided voltages to a CMOS.IC. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of a power source 25 is divided by a resistance 26 which is made of a diffused resistor and has a positive coefficient of temp. and a resistance 27 which is made of a polycrystalline silicon resistor and has a negative coefficient of temp. and the electric power is supplied from across the resistance 27 to an oscillating part 21 made of a CMOS.IC. Therefore, the voltage applied to the oscillating part 21 decreases as the temp. rises, and as the temp. of the CMOS. IC rises, the threshold voltage lowers and this offsets the characteristic that power consumption increases and decreases the temperature change of power consumption. |
