摘要 PURPOSE: To minimize length change of a buffer stack by composing in such a way as to separate prints from an arriving imbricated stream of prints, and supply them when the imbricated stream is disconnected. CONSTITUTION: Prints 14 are separated from an arriving imbricated stream T by a separation device 58 to be supplied to a buffer branch arrangement. The unseparated prints 14 form an imbricated buffer stack at a supply part 22 to reach a feeder. In the buffer branch arrangement, the separated prints 14 are wound in an imbricated or singled formation U by a buffer winding tape 68 to a buffer winding 64. As the arriving imbricated stream T is disconnected, the prints 14 accumulated on the buffer winding 64 are supplied to the supply part 22, so the imbricated stream T is not disconnected. Since the buffer winding 64 has a relatively large accumulation ability, disconnection can be eliminated without adjusting functional of the feeder even when the supplied imbricated stream T is disconnected long.
