PURPOSE:To improve a stability of an emulsifying compound by combining an oil containing a specified high-molecular silicone or an organic silicone resin, a hydrophilic surface active agent and a polyhydric alcohol having two or more hydroxyl radicals in a molecule. CONSTITUTION:An oil phase, which contains one or more species of high- molecular silicone represented by the formula I (wherein R1 is methyl partly phenyl radical, R2 is methyl or hydroxyl radical and n is an integer of 3,000-20,000) and/or an organic silicone resin composed of a unit represented by the formula II (wherein R3 is 1-6C hydrocarbon radical or phenyl radical) and SiO2-unit in a ratio of 0.5/1-1.5/1, is prepared. An emulsifying compound is prepared by combining this oil phase, a hydrophilic surface active agent and a polyhydric alcohol having two or more hydroxyl radicals in a molecule. An O/W emulsifying compound can also be prepared from this emulsifying compound and an aq. phase component. |
