PURPOSE:To achieve a dimensional reduction of a mounting member and a common use thereof by forming on an arm of the stabilizer bar a mounting shaft having a diameter smaller than that of the arm through with the stabilizer bar is secured to a suspension device by means of proper fittings. CONSTITUTION:The stabilizer bar 4 is secured to a vehicle body 1 in the central part 5 at two spaced points. Arm parts 6 on both sides has the mounting shafts 7 through which the arm parts 7 is fixed to the suspension device such as a lower control arm 3. The mounting shaft 7 is adapted to have a smaller diameter than the arm part 6 and fixed to the arm 3 through a bush 8 by means of a champ 9 and bolt 10. According to the above construction, since the mounting shaft 7 is of a small diameter, an extra thickness of the shaft 7 can be eliminated so that all of the fittings 8-10 can be small-sized and light-weight, resulting in a reduction of manufacturing costs. |
