PURPOSE:To obtain a detection output without hindrance even if a large input arrives suddenly, by controlling the output gain of an input amplifier by use of a rectified voltage. CONSTITUTION:An input signal, once applied to the input terminal, is amplified by amplifier 1 and the gain of amplifier 1 is controlled with a voltage rectified by rectifier 3. The signal amplified by amplifier 1, on the other hand, is AM-detected by AM detector 2 to obtain a detection output at output terminal 5. Therefore, even if a large input arrives suddenly, the voltage rectified by rectifier 3' can be obtained to control the gain of amplifier 1, so that the detection output can be obtained by AM detector 2 without hindrance. |
