PURPOSE:To plan for improving controllability of a command value at the sudden change by a method wherein a voltage-current control system of a DC motor having a shunt field system is provided with a means by which the field factor is lowered, when it becomes more than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:An armature 9 of a compound motor is constant voltage-controlled through a closed-loop consisting of an adding point 2, a lower provity circuit 4, an adding point 5, a thyristor bridge 7 and an armature voltage detector 8, and a field system 10 is constant current-controlled through a closed-loop comprising an adding point 14, a thyristor bridge 12 and a detector 17. A field coefficient supervisory control unit 19 to which the armature current and field current are fed as inputs is provided and the value of the armature current is added to the adding point 2 when it is decreased lower than necessary, and the lowering thereof is prevented. Accordingly, increasing the command value of the voltage control system can lower the field factor, and a good controllability can be attained removing fluctuations of the field factor at a sudden change of the command value. |
