PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature element of excellent characteristics which can be utilized for oscillators in various oscillation modes by preventing a support shift in a post process by securely supporting a piezoelectric ceramic oscillator provided with electrodes by a terminal by making use of ring-shaped heat-shrinkable film. CONSTITUTION:The terminal is provided with heat-shrinkable film T surrounding the piezoelectric oscillator and film T is contracted by heat to hold oscillator 1 by the terminal. Then, a space forming material, such as wax, paraffin and vaseline, is stuck to the entire surface of element 1 and porous thermosetting insulating resin is also stuck to the entire surface of the terminal except one part to form layer 10; and the space forming material is liquefied or vaporized by heat to stick the porous thermosetting insulating resin, forming layer 11. Then, layer 11 is dried and then heated to absorb the space forming material into layer 11 by liquefaction or vaporization or to discharge it out. Thus, oscillator 1 is covered entirely with the insulating resin cured through the space. Consequently, the miniature piezoelectric ceramic oscillator with excellent characteristics which can be utilized for oscillators in various modes can be obtained. |
