PURPOSE:To avoid signal distortion due to the asymmetry of amplitude delay by making amplitude characteristics and/or delay characteristics symmetric on a center frequency by adjusting the phase delay. CONSTITUTION:When this device is used as a synthesizer, applying an F2-channel signal from terminal J2 results in that the F2 signal outputted to J2' has part of the high-frequency range absorbed by channel F2. As this signal is applied to a branching synthesizer, a major part of the signal passes through directional filter G2 and appears at terminal P and part of the low frequency signal appears at terminal P by way of directional filter G1. Then, the signal passage extending to P via phase delay equalizer G1 and that extending to P via filter G2 are put in phase to correct the delay, so that while amplitude characteristics and/or delay characteristics can be made symmetric on the center frequency, signal distortion due to the asymmetry of the amplitude delay can be avoided. |
