Sheet profile for a deep dish made from polyethylene coated card - cut and folded to provide support, drainage and ventilation at each corner

A dish made of sheet material which can be folded flat for storage prior to use is made from a blank shaped so that pairs of 'V' shaped panels can be generated for extra support at each corner between the sidewalls and the end panels of the dish. Support is provided by one folded face which is bonded against the external face of the adjacent sidewall and another folded face inclined inwards adjacent to the end panel. Pref. the fold zones are slotted and their focal zones are chipped: the openings at the focal points serve to prevent mutual interference by the folds and to drain any juice or condensn. from the base of the box, and/or provide ventilation. Esp. applicable to dishes for holding food and made from polyethylene-coated card.
