The outer housing part (1) of the device is supplemented by two half-shells (5) which are welded onto it and are attached in the axial extent of the housing part (1). The free end faces, facing the pressure plate (1a), of the half shells are supported on corresponding end faces of a collar (2b) on the inner housing part (2) as a result of which the two housing parts (1, 2) are held under the effect of the pretensioning force of the spring (8). Between the half shells (5) and the inner housing part (2), a sliding bushing (4) is arranged. The present device is more resistant to deformations and sealed better against dust and moisture than previously known devices of the generic type.
