PURPOSE:To obtain a high response speed by a method wherein a Cds film, CdTe film and As2Se3 film are piled in layer by turns on a transparent conductive membrance formed on a light penetrating substance, an opposed electrode is provided on the As2Se3 film and dark currents in the reverse bias are decreased. CONSTITUTION:The transparent conductive membrane 2 such as SnO2, In2O2 is formed on the light transmitting substance, the Cds film 3, CdTe film 4 and As2Se3 film 5 are by turns piled in layer on the conductive membrane 2 and in addition, the opposed electrode 6 made of gold or the like are formed on the film 5. The dark currents in the photoelectric transducer is sufficiently reduced and a light irradiation current is adapted to flow in good condition at the irradiation of light. A spectral characteristic is made favorable and adapted to be used for reading the images of a facsimile and digital copier. |
