The device is for transportation of annular work pieces which are to be externally or internally worked e.g. roller bearing rings. Each processing station has a loading arm which can pivot through 180 deg. between two work piece mounting positions. The loading arms are attached in series in planes parallel to the processing stations, at a separation roughly that of the width of the work piece. The work piece take ups are gathered together coaxially in front of a pre loading station when not in the working or operative position.
